The bubble started to get a little messy last night. Arizona State lost to Colorado. Oklahoma State and Notre Dame picked up wins. Syracuse lost to North Carolina. Washington was stunned by Oregon State, as was NC State by Boston College. Marquette and Texas escaped fatal opening-round upsets.
No, conference tournament first-round results don’t change a lot. They’re still one game.
But yes, if your team won Wednesday night, it’s doing something right, because now it has a chance to play its way into the field Thursday night.
